issue with importing

    issue with importing

     i tried to import via the online converter within the module in flash (for the online conversion utility 

    1.chose my 3ds file (a 3ds  file i dl to test in flash) called  G_TBL01.3ds

    2.i then chose settings of high,center and the perspective

    3.the program communicated with the server for about 10 min ,finished the conversion asked me to dl ,at this point i hit dl

    and got an error in the flash panel saying null.zip did not exist.

    i then tried again conversion went ok i recieved the filke this time. unzipped then imported , the conversion made a .png file

    when i tried to import i got this error.

    FreeSpin3D Error:#1008 Parsing model failed.

     ok , wondering if this may have been one of  the issues ?

    the model has no skin texture ,should still show up as a grey i would think , but the conversion utility didnt add this in the zip file , i only recieved the png (wich is the mdf correct )?

    sorry im very eager  to learn this and help provide answers for other members in the process.

    ok in reply to myself , i found out that the polygon limit is 2000 for doing the online conversion

    if its more you get these errors , so to save yourselfs the headache and frusrtation

    convert something with less polygons.

    however i pose this ?.

    if i already have a model in the mdf/png format on my loacal computer and i use the quick import

    will spin handle higher poly counts?
