The FreeSpin3D Adobe Flash Component uses it's own unique and proprietary graphic representation of the 3D Model for real-time rendering in Adobe Flash.
The Conversion process manipulates and compiles the 3D Model into a proprietary polygonal data structure. The result of the conversion is a unique graphic representation of the 3D Model, its called an MDF file (Model Data File).
For Adobe Flash the MDF file is compressed and stored in a PNG file type which is then imported into the Flash IDE library.
Importing a 3D Model into Adobe Flash is performed using the FreeSpin3D Import Panel.
There are two ways to invoke the FreeSpin3D Import 3D Model Utility:
- Using the FreeSpin3D Direct import - Commands > FreeSpin3D-Import 3D Model
- Through the FreeSpin3D Control panel
This will open a dialogue box for you to browse and select the 3D Model MDF file to import (which is the PNG). Please note that the texture files should be located in the same folder so they can be imported as well.
Once you selected the 3D Model MDF file to import, click on 'open' and the Model will be imported into the Adobe Flash library -> then you can assign in to the FreeSpin3D Component.
Hope this help.
